| Based within the Company`s Design and Development Department, the successful candidate will be responsible for the design of new products from marketing specification.
Reporting to the Design Team Leader in the first instance, the role includes new product design, detailing and Project control from concept through to product availability, modification of existing product in line with business demands and availability of new materials and technologies.
Knowledge of gas and electrical technology applied to catering equipment would be advantageous. Experience in Solid Works or similar 3D CAD systems is essential and design experience on fabricated assemblies, plastic moulding and cast iron is desirable.
HND or higher qualification in an associated discipline is required.
